TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The price you bid excludes 10% buyers commission on the live auction. A 10% buyer's commission will be charged for items sold online or via webcast. Both charges are exclusive of 15% vat on all items with Natis Documents. A R2000.00 (excluding VAT) will be charged per Natis Document.
• On all credit / debit card transactions a 5% surcharge will be charged.
• Failure to pay for goods purchased - the buyer will be defaulted and will therefore forfeit the refundable deposit. Payment is required within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction unless otherwise arranged with Crosstate Auctioneers management.
• Units may only be released after payment reflects in the Crosstate Auctioneers account as cleared should more than one item be purchased. No single item will be released until full payment of invoice is received.
• Any item with signwriting will need to have signwriting removed prior to collection. In the event of trailers with curtains, the curtain will need to be removed unless otherwise specified. Any tracking devices/dashcams etc need to be removed on confirmation of the sale. Please arrange all of the above with the Crosstate Auctioneers staff prior to collection.
• Some paper delays are to be expected – if the Natis Document is not in our possession, we will request it from the seller and forward it to you as soon as possible via courier.
• We require Natis business registration numbers and proxy identity copies of companies and private buyer identity document for licensing department's change of ownership before we hand over the registration documents.
• This auction is conducted in terms of section 45(4) of the consumer protection act which excludes section 55 and 56.
• Every item on the auction sale is subject to a reserve / upset price unless otherwise stated.
• The auction is subject to a right to bid by or on behalf of the owner or auctioneer, in which case the owner or auctioneer, or any one person on behalf of the owner or auctioneer as the case may be, may bid at the auction.
• All items on auction are sold with no duty to repair and no mileage or hours are guaranteed by Crosstate Auctioneers.
• Please note the company that you register under will be the company that will be invoiced. If you purchase on behalf of more than one company, please ensure that you have a buyers card for each company.
• Year of manufacture where Natis Documents are available. The "first year of registration" will be used.
• Fica requirements must be met prior to any unit being released.
• A R20,000 refundable deposit is required in order to participate on the auction. No cash will be accepted
• Items may be removed or added during a live or online auction at the discresion of Crosstate Auctioneers.
• Crosstate Auctioneers will not be held liable for any incorrect description or photo used for illustrative or descriptive purposes of any item on auction.
